Rohit Chawla

MBA '13J · Class of 2013 · Delhi-NCR

Rohit Chawla is the Founder & CEO of Innovist, a science-led, digital-first house of personal-care brands — including Bare Anatomy, Chemist at Play and SunScoop — built on clean, transparent formulations and in-house R&D. The company scaled across direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, quick-commerce and offline retail to become one of India’s most prominent new-age beauty groups.

In June 2026, L’Oréal — the world’s largest beauty company — agreed to acquire a majority stake in Innovist, with Rohit and his founding team continuing to run the business under L’Oréal India’s Consumer Products Division. It was his second build in the category: he earlier founded The Man Company, the premium men’s-grooming brand later acquired by Emami. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MS from Carnegie Mellon University, and began his career in M&A and strategy consulting across New York and London.
